Plan Ahead for Temporary Banking Service Interruptions
We’re preparing for another major milestone in our merger — connecting all three credit unions onto one Cascadia banking system. For legacy Osoyoos and Revelstoke members, this change includes a few important steps leading up to and following the merger weekend (July 10-13) to ensure a smooth transition.
These changes will impact your day to day banking. Please read this page closely and plan accordingly.

Important: e-Transfer interruptions begin July 7
Here’s what you can do now to get ready and ensure a smooth transition:
Save your e-Transfer contact list before July 8
Save your e-Transfer contacts (emails or phone numbers) so you can easily rebuild it later. Your e-transfer contacts WILL NOT CARRY OVER into the new system. You can do this by taking screenshots of your contacts on your phone or copying them into a document on your computer to reference later.
e-Transfers
Sending INTERAC® e-Transfer
- The ability to send an e-Transfer will shut down at 4:00pm on Tuesday, July 7, and any outgoing unaccepted e-Transfers, by the recipient, will be cancelled and returned to your account.
Incoming INTERAC® e-Transfers
- Notifications received must be deposited prior to Wednesday July 8 at 4:00pm or after July 12 in the new Cascadia system.
AutoDeposit
- All AutoDeposits set up for incoming e-Transfers will be disabled on Wednesday July 8 at 4:00pm.
Plan ahead for payments and deposits:
- Deposit any cheques using the OCU/RCU app that you’d like to process before the banking system merger.
- Pay any bills due July 10-12 by July 9th to avoid delays.
- Complete any critical banking transactions before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10.
- Delete or reschedule any future-dated CRA bill payments — these will not carry over to the new system.
- Be prepared: debit purchases and ATMs will work, but will have reduced limits from July 10-12. Plan your large purchases in advance; withdraw extra if needed.
During Integration Weekend (July 10-13)
While we’re connecting our systems:
- Digital and mobile banking will be unavailable from Friday evening until Monday morning.
- Debit purchases and ATMs will have reduced limits from July 10-12. Plan your large purchases in advance; withdraw extra if needed.
After Integration Weekend (July 13)
Once our upgraded Cascadia system is live, you’ll need to re-onboard into Cascadia Digital Banking.
Here’s what to expect:
- You will need your existing debit card number to login for the first time. You will need your date of birth to re-enroll in 2-factor authentication.
- If you’re unsure of your debit card number or don't have a debit card, please contact us: 1-866-494-7181 or after-hours call 1-888-223-8158.
- Delete your old OCU/RCU Mobile App and download the Cascadia Credit Union App.
Other Important Post-Merge Actions
- Recreate your INTERAC® e-Transfer Profile, Contacts, AutoDeposit Settings, and “Request Money” features.
- Recreate your CRA profile and any future-dated CRA payments.
- Re-add any delegates for business or organization accounts.
