Cascadia’s Commercial Team Supports Local Food Banks This Holiday Season

Food security continues to be a growing concern across BC, and this season, Cascadia Credit Union’s Commercial team wanted to do something meaningful to support the communities we call home.

As part of our commitment to strengthening local resilience, the team has donated $2,000 to reach food banks in each of our three regions: Osoyoos, Revelstoke, and Summerland.

When local businesses and community partners work together, we can help ensure more families have what they need during the holidays and beyond.

How You Can Support Your Local Food Bank

Throughout December, each Cascadia branch will be collecting non-perishable items for our local food banks. Anyone wishing to contribute is welcome to drop items off during branch hours.

Why It Matters

As a financial co-operative, our profits stay local and are reinvested in our members and our communities. Supporting food banks is one of the many ways we work alongside local businesses, nonprofits, and community partners to help meet community needs—especially at this time of year.

Thank You to Our Members

Your decision to bank locally makes contributions like this possible. Together, we’re building stronger communities across the South Okanagan, Similkameen, and Columbia regions.
