Grade 12 Graduation Bursaries

Cascadia Credit Union has up to $10,000 in bursaries available to graduating high school students who are planning to attend a public or private post-secondary approved program.

Applications are now closed and will reopen in the spring of 2027.

Fred Olynyk Bursary - Revelstoke Students

The Fred Olynyk High School Bursary honours the legacy of Fred Olynyk, a dedicated community leader and long-time resident of Revelstoke. A respected member of the forestry industry, avid gardener, and sports enthusiast, Fred devoted more than 28 years to serving as a director with the Revelstoke and District Credit Union and held leadership roles with BC Central Credit Union.


Created in his honour, this bursary recognizes graduating students from Revelstoke who reflect Fred’s commitment to community involvement, leadership, and perseverance as they pursue post-secondary education or training.

Cascadia Adult Education Bursary

This bursary program supports lifelong learning and helps remove financial barriers for members working toward their goals.

Congratulations to our 2025 bursary recipients. The next application period for this bursary is in the fall, 2026.


Credit Union Foundation of BC Bursary: Applications are now open

Established in 1958 by BC credit unions, this bursary supports students facing financial or personal barriers to post-secondary education, along with those committed to cooperative values and community impact. Applicants need to demonstrate financial need and be attending a public Canadian post-secondary program. Graduate and post-graduate students are not eligible.


Applications open January 1 to February 15 and September 1 to October 15.
